They say pregnant women 'nest' before the baby arrives. The nesting instinct is the name given to the distinctive urge to clean, tidy, and organize that occurs during pregnancy. I actually think I was born with a nesting instinct as I have always been one to have things organized.
Let me digress... my mom told me that she used to leave me in front of the check out when she was grocery shopping and there I would stay and organize the candy bars, gum, magazines, etc. I guess she figured I'd be safe and not run off because no way would I leave the area until all items were facing the same way and/or in their proper place.
So back to nesting... let me just tell you how nice it is to have that nesting instinct with a maid around! I have been finding all kinds of things that need to be cleaned and the best part is, I don't have to clean them! It's wonderful!
