Big thanks to my Sister and Brother-in-law and to my Mom for hosting a family style BBQ to celebrate the arrival of our baby girl. Andy and I had a wonderful day! Big thanks to everyone who was able to make it out to BBQ with us and a big thanks to everyone who had us in your thoughts. While I'm thanking... I would also like to thank my Aunt Linda (ALR) who kind of (I'll explain later) gave us the recipe for her award winning BBQ sauce which my mom and I prepared for party favors.
I had a blast cooking in the kitchen with my mom while listening to music... I think this is the very first time my mom and I have ever been in the kitchen together (if you know my mom you'll totally understand)!
Back to the BBQ sauce... ALR is known for many things, one of which is her amazing BBQ sauce. So, Mom and I thought this would make a perfect party favor for our BaBy Q! ALR agreed and she sent us the recipe minus the spice mixture... that she sent via US mail already mixed and portioned for us! We are currently having one of the bags analyzed... I'll keep you posted :)
