Week 1
* Very surreal. * I remember thinking that someone might take it all away.
* Woke up at 3 am and just knew that I was never going to be able to sleep for an entire night again!
Week 2
* Started to adjust to my new job and my new hours and actually looked forward to the middle of the night feedings... Dru and Mama time! * Got used to all of her noises at night and was able to sleep through them instead of jump out of bed to make sure she was ok.
* Dru and I met her grandparents!
Week 3
* I fell in love all over again! Dru saw me for the first time... while laying on my chest, she pushed off and looked up at me. She looked right into my eyes and held my gaze for a few precious moments. It was almost as if she was thinking, 'I know you, I trust you, and I think I like you!' My heart melted! * Dr. Paulo gave Dru and me an A+ at our second visit. She's gained a little weight (3.5 kilos) and grew 2 centimeters!
* Trying to plan a way to get Mimi back in Brazil... any ideas?!
* Dru met Tia Tina!
