I'm a mom!

I officially feel like a mom... or an 80 year old woman as Andy put it! Last week he walked into the apartment and said, "is that what I think it is out there?" I had no idea what he was talking about at first but quickly realized he was referring to the cart in the living room after he said, "you bought one of those carts that every lady has in Moema" then he added under his breath "over 80!" Yes, I purchased one of those carts that every old lady has in NYC, SP, and probably every other large metropolitan city. But, I need it. I go to the supermarket about 2 or 3 times per week because I can't carry everything I need plus baby D. Also, now we can go to the farmer's market and buy endless fruits and veggies and not have to worry about our arms aching all the way home. I am excited and embarrassed all at the same time.

On to baby D... five weeks already!  I marvel at how amazing she is. My only complaint is that she sleeps too much during the day and I have no one to talk to and play with. I love when she is awake and we lay on the play mat and talk to each other. Well, truth be told, I do all of the talking. Baby D is a great listener; she smiles at everything I say to her!  Now with that being said, I want no confusion... I said she sleeps too much during the day... I am not complaining how much she sleeps at night!
Sound asleep in her swing with her oh-so-soft blanket from Aunt Mary!

Pai thinks I'm sleeping...

HaHa... joke's on him!

Beijos, beijos

  3. The last two! To paraphrase James Taylor: They used to talk about amazing grace-- it meant something when I saw Dru's face. :)
